Nurturing the Mother, Empowering the Family.
Welcome, friend! I’m Alison and it's lovely you're here! The ripple effect of a well-supported mother changes the entire family. My approach offers intentional, evidence-informed, customized care that meets your unique needs. I will work to understand your birthing needs and tailor my support. Whether that means planning your birth intentions, catching up on sleep, processing your birth experience with you, your partner or other child(ren), or mastering the art of newborn feeding, my goal is to empower you and your family to feel confident and rested.
After raising our three babies, I understand the challenges and joys of parenthood firsthand. We are social creatures, we are not meant to parent in isolation.
Every parent deserves to feel nurtured and respected during the transition into parenthood. Those first weeks postpartum set the stage for your family's dynamic, and my goal is to protect that transition with practical, emotional, and informational support. The wealth of information before, during, and after your birth can be overwhelming. Through intentional, thoughtful, and evidence-informed planning, you can spend those early weeks bonding with your baby and adjusting to your new relationships and routine. My focus is on empowering you and your family to make decisions that align with your family values.
